Membership is open to scholars in all fields of study related to the Holy Roman Empire and to all levels of
post-bachelor's degree academic standing. Dues, in the amount of US $5.00 per year for professionals and $3.00 per year
for graduate students, cover administrative costs and are good for the calendar year.
(If you are already a member of SSHRE and simply need to renew your membership, please see the
Pay Dues section of the page.)
To join SSHRE, please fill out the following membership form below and click "Submit".
You will then be redirected to the dues payment area. We have switched to a secure online web payment
system (PayPal), so dues can now be
paid securely online by credit card.

The Journal of the Holy Roman Empire is an e-journal open to the public. Access is free to members and non-members alike.
How to join H-HRE:
The Society is partnered with H-HRE, an H-Net discussion list. In addition to scholarly discussion, the list also posts calls
for papers, conference and other announcements, and reviews
appropriate to the study of the Holy Roman Empire. You do not have to be a member in good standing of SSHRE to join the list. For
